July 2006 visit to Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. We stayed in Hood River at a place called Mt View Cottages, set amongst pear and cherry orchards. We hiked Mt. Defiance, Tunnel Falls, Tamanawas Falls and Oneanta Gorge, of which Oneanta Gorge was the most fabulous.
